I am a Ph.D. student at the High Energy Physics Group in UCM. In 2020, I received an FPU fellowship from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Also, I am member of the international collaborations MAGIC (Major Atmospheric Gamma-ray Imaging Cherenkov Telescope) and CTA (Cherenkov Telescope Array).

The main focus of my work is to study and search variable gamma-ray sources, such as pulsars, emitting High Energies. Other activities include:

  • Collaborate with the commissioning and development of the LST, defining and characterizing the timing hardware/software needed to detect pulsars.
  • Pulsar analysis of High Energy telescope data from the LST (mainly MAGIC, LST and Fermi-LAT) includes studying the first data to find the first detection of a pulsar.
  • Study of physic models that explain the particle acceleration and High Energy emission produced by pulsars and PWNe.
